This summer has been quite a busy one. Along with keeping busy and having lots of fun with my two little ones, I decided to become a Beachbody coach. Why? I was itching to try something new, meet new people, and share something I’m passionate about.
First, what is Beachbody? Beachbody is a company that promotes fitness, health, and wellness through various programs, supplements, and motivational/support tools.
When I decided that I needed to lose weight and get healthy, I started with the program T-25. It wasn’t easy at first, but slowly I no longer needed to modify the moves. Combined with clean eating, the weight was falling off. I did a few rounds of T-25 and then started mixing it up with other cardio and strength training workouts. Eight months later, I was down 42 pounds and I have maintained that for a year now. It takes a lot of dedication, planning, and preparation, but I love it! A few months ago, I started using 21 Day Fix and 21 Day Fix Extreme. I also began drinking Shakeology. These workout programs have helped me maintain my weight loss and tone. I still continue with a clean eating lifestyle and use the 21 Day Fix eating plan to help me stay in check.
Because of the positive results I got and continue to get with Beachbody, I decided to become a coach. I want to share what Beachbody has helped give me, which is a healthy lifestyle and confidence. I love the workout programs, so why not help others get involved if they are looking to incorporate exercise into their daily routine? I love to cook and try new recipes. So why not share what I make to help people eat healthy?
I know this doesn’t make sense because this blog is all about baking and desserts that aren’t necessarily good for you. Well baking is still a passion of mine and it is something else I enjoy sharing. I will continue to do it and always keep in mind that moderation is key and I love giving baked goods away anyway :). I’m not sure if I will continue writing about Beachbody on I Need to Bake or create a second blog. I’m trying to figure out the best way to do that. But in the meantime, I will be adding various posts about health, nutrition, and Beachbody information.
