I’m slacking here on my blog posts. I had a good run going but it’s been a couple of weeks since my last post. Summer vacation among other things have kept me from baking (so sad!). Along with summer fun, I became a Beach Body coach so I have been trying to figure that out (more on that later!). I also got an adult coloring book. So during the time I used to blog, I now color. I also color while the kids are napping. I’m addicted and I get nothing done.
So why am I here today? I made this recipe a couple weeks ago and need to share. Super easy White Chocolate Peanut Crispy Rice Treats are sooo good. I made these when I had about 15 minutes to spare between appointments and I couldn’t just sit still. I had been wanting to make these and I knew I had all the ingredients. Seeing how quick it is, this is what I did to kill time.
The White Chocolate Peanut Crispy Rice Treats come from one of my favorite books, Dessert for Two. Everything in this book is quick and easy to make, and of course the recipes are small batches, which is great.
These bars are made right in a 9×5 loaf pan. We’ve got marshmallows, rice krispies, peanuts, white chocolate, and toffee bits. All wonderful things, especially when combined. And this recipe is no bake, which is great for summer!
The serving size for these treats is 2, but as you can see in the picture below, that’s a pretty big piece! While there is nothing wrong with having a big piece like that, I thought that they could easily be made into 4 servings.
If you need a quick and easy treat that isn’t going to tempt you with a ton of left overs, this is the perfect recipe!
