These brownies. I don’t even know what to say. But I do know that just a regular brownie will never be good enough. If you need a major chocolate fix, which I could go for at any time, these Truffle-Topped Brownies will take care of that.
This recipe comes from a cookbook, Dessert Mash-Ups, which is a go-to of mine. And a brownie and truffle is the perfect mash-up!
If you plan on making these brownies, you do need to plan ahead. But trust me, it’s worth it. They start with a brownie on the bottom, which by itself is amazing. But we take it one step further and pour a combination of chocolate and heavy cream on top, creating the truffle. The reason why you need to plan ahead is because the truffle needs time to set.
Can you see the two layers?! These brownies are super chocolatey, rich, and fudgy. The best.
This is the perfect dessert to make. It looks very impressive but takes no time at all to put together. And it’s made in a 9×13 pan so it can feed a crowd.
If you don’t have this book, which I think you should, I highly recommend checking out the blog Crazy for Crust for some amazing looking brownie recipes!
